For DRK I used the Chromite Greatsword dyed Pearl White. For PLD I recommend the Shield of the Fury (Wolf Marks) in Bone White or Gobbiebag brown, and the ARR relic Excalibur. (Sword of the Fury to go w/ the shield if that grind is too much)
