Fighter in the Wind Choi Bae Dal was based on the true life story of Choi Yeong-Eui a.k.a. Mas Oyama.
This Legendary Korean Karate Master was known to have founded the Kyokushin Karate.
He was considered one of the strongest Karate Masters in Japan, and is especially famous for fighting bulls with his bare hands.
Ryu from Street Fighter was also created based on Choi Yeong-Eui.
