Not everything left in to void was turned voidsent or a monster. Some people found ways to survive for a time. Covered there bodies so the lesser voidsent beasts could not tell them apart form the other. Used magics and charms to mask the nature of there aether. No telling how long one could survive the void with out becoming a monster but we have yet to find out.
