Inspired by 1940s fashion - this outfit showcases a trend popularized in the past as women looked to wearing pastel tones as they transitioned from times of war to times of peace. Hence the little sailor hat to remember the troops who fought at sea. Interestingly enough, WWII in Europe ended in May whereby people woke up to the end of war during spring time. I hope this outfit gives you a little blast from the past and a reminder of how a lot of fashion pieces were birthed out of war.
